HackerNoon’s platform continues to evolve, and one of the most helpful additions for writers is the HackerNoon Inbox — a space designed to streamline communication not only with the editorial team but also with support for any purchased services. Whether you’re waiting on a draft review, disputing an order, or need clarification on your story, the inbox keeps every conversation organized and easy to access.

The main purpose of the Inbox is simple: to keep writers in direct, clear communication with both the editorial team and HackerNoon support for any service-related issues.
Checking in on Your Draft Review
If your draft hasn’t been reviewed within 3–4 business days, you don’t have to sit and wonder what’s happening. Just head into your draft’s Story Settings. There, you’ll see an option that reads:
“Click here to message the editorial team.”
Send your message, and your note will appear directly in the editors’ inbox. They typically respond within a day or two, helping you keep momentum on your publishing timeline.
To access your inbox, go to app.hackernoon.com/inbox and browse through your DMs.
Service-Related Support Directly Through Your Inbox

HackerNoon’s Inbox isn’t just for draft reviews — it also helps you manage any services you purchase on the platform. If something goes wrong with an order or you need help understanding a purchased service, you can contact support directly from the service order page.
Writers can choose from several quick message options, including:
- “When will my purchase take effect?”
- “I don’t see the translation on my story page.”
- “Something went wrong processing the payment.”
- “I cannot activate this service.”
- “How can I cancel this order?”
- “Something else.”
Once you select an option, your message opens a direct conversation with a support team member inside your Inbox, making it easy to resolve issues quickly and keep your publishing workflow running smoothly.
